ABOUT

My Leadership Philosophy

My leadership philosophy is straight-forward: I want to be a leader that â€‹inspires others to lead. I am very involved on campus and in my community at home, and my experiences have exposed me different types of leadership techniques. These leaders have showed me good and bad qualities, which helped me understand what type of leader is the most successful.

I want to inspire others to lead. I want to be a leader that followers want to follow. I want to continue to learn as a leader and grow as a leader and become a leader that this world needs.

Ethical Statement

All leaders struggle with ethics. There will come a time when something is asked of you, and as a leader, you must make a difficult choice. Our values and our beliefs are what make us who we are. And as leaders, it is important to understand your values and ensure that your actions align.

My leadership values are...

1. Strive for growth, not regression.

2. Be willing to acknowledge your weaknesses and accept help from others.

3. Don't be afraid to speak out, even if you're in the minority.

4. Stay honest to yourself and to others.
5. Don't compromise your values to get ahead; your values make you, YOU!

Every single person can be a leader. We all have it in us, whether it be a large-scale project or a small business or even an entire country. In order to be successful, it is important to identify your values and beliefs and ensure that your actions follow them. I strive to encompass my values as a leader and guarantee that my actions follow.
